We Believe

1. The Bible is the Inspired & Infallible Word of God

   We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Revealed to mankind over the course of time deemed appropriate by God. It is complete in its 66 books, Genesis to Revelation. We believe it is inerrant in its original writings and the final authority on all things concerning God. The words of the Bible are breathed out by God, through His Holy Spirit to men chosen by God to reveal His truths through their writing.

2. In the One True Living God Who Is Presented in Three Persons (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit)

   We believe in the One True Living God, who has revealed Himself to humanity in three distinct persons. God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. Yet He is one being, the only God, creator of all things. Who is omnipresent, omnipotant and omniscient.

3. In Jesus Christ’s Divinity

   We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ. That He is entirely God and entirely human, the expressed image of the Father, who never ceased being God and who is not created but is the Creator of all things. He came to humanity to demonstrate who God is and to provide the way for salvation. We believe that Jesus, in human flesh, was conceived of the Holy Spirit and Mary. That God chose Mary be His humble servant and she was a virgin at the time of conception. We believe Jesus died on the cross for all sin, was buried and was literally raised from the dead on the third day, according to the Scriptures. He ascended into Heaven in His glorified body and is seated at the right hand of the Father and will come again to establish His Kingdom on this earth and to judge all nations.

4. In the Literal Existence of Angels, Demons and Satan

   We believe in the existence and personality of angels, creatures whom God created to worship Him and to be His messengers. We believe in the literal existence of Satan and demons. Satan, once an anointed guardian cherub, has led a rebellion against God and will be cast down out of Heaven. He and the other fallen angels who rebelled are the embodiment of all evil against the Lord and mankind.

5. Mankind is Created In the Image of God

   We believe that mankind was created by God and is uniquely made in His image, male and female. We believe that all mankind, because of Adam’s sin, has inherited the sin curse and is unable to remedy this fallen state. God has written on the hearts of all humans, the moral law (Ten Commandments), which we fail to uphold to perfection and therefore need a Savior in Jesus Christ, who redeems all who place their trust in Him for the forgiveness of their sins and eternal life.

6. Salvation Through Faith Alone, In Christ Alone

   We believe that in God’s unfathomable love and mercy for us, He has offered all, the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Jesus, who knew no sin, was made sin and bore the price of our sin with his body. His death on the cross fully paid the price for all sin and fully justified those who put their faith in Him. We believe that salvation is obtained by God's grace, through faith, alone. That no works of man can earn salvation. We believe that once a person is truly born-again, with the Holy Spirit residing inside, that nothing created can take him or her away from the hand of Christ.

7. The Holy Spirit is Our Helper

   We believe in the Holy Spirit as the Helper sent by the Lord after His return to Heaven. We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates sinners and indwells those who accept Jesus Christ into their hearts. He is the agent in which Jesus baptizes new believers into His spiritual body (the Church). He is the giver of spiritual gifts for all true believers.

8. The Church is the Spiritual Body of Christ

   We believe that the Church is the spiritual body of Christ on earth. Made up of all who are His, in this present age. We believe that water baptism is an outward obedience and commitment to the Lord, but does not save a person. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of Christ’s death and shed blood for us. We believe in the Great Commission as the primary mission of the Church, that all who accept Christ are obligated to witness by word and life to the truths of God’s Word.

9. In Future-Occurring Bible Prophecies

   We believe in the Blessed Hope, the personal and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to rapture (harpazo, gk.) His saints (true believers). We believe in the visible and bodily return of Jesus Christ, along with His saints to establish His promised kingdom. We believe in the literal resurrection of all human beings — the saints to joyful and eternal life with God, and the unbelievers to eternal torment in the Lake of Fire. We believe that when saints die, their souls go on to be with the Lord as they await the uniting of a perfected body with the spirit and soul at the time of resurrection. We believe that the unbelievers, when they die will go on to a place of conscious misery until the day of the Great White Throne Judgment of God, who will judge them according to their wicked works and cast them into the Lake of Fire for an everlasting punishment which is of equal measure to their sins.
